We got back from the Turks and Caicos.  It was fantastic and well worth the money spent.  First, we got upgraded? to an oceanfront room in the Italian village.  The view from the room was always gorgeous.  Kids loved the 2-story bed.  Second, this time kids had a chance to see lots of fish while snorkeling --  just by swimming off the beach.  Third, we did the tour on the Kitty Kat catamaran for extra money, and the kids loved the additional snorkeling and walk along the private beach.  Fourth, it's proximity to the airport was also a big plus.  Fifth, the choice of food (even sushi for dinner w/o a need for reservation) and condiments available (even cotton candy + French desserts all day long) made the kids pretty happy.

KINGSTON, JAMAICA--(Marketwire - April 4, 2011) - John Issa, chairman of SuperClubs Super-Inclusive Resorts, announced that Breezes Rio Bueno, formerly Grand Lido Braco, will close its doors on April 30, 2011, after it became clear to him that "our strenuous two-year effort to arrive at a mutually satisfactory lease arrangement with the owners was not going to succeed."

SuperClubs terminated the lease for "force majeure" but continued to operate the all inclusive resort in good faith during negotiations. "The owners had ample opportunity to secure a new operator, but it appears none has been found," said Mr. Issa. "It is very unfortunate that we could not come to an arrangement to keep Breezes Rio Bueno open, but that is the nature of this business. Breezes Resorts are still as popular as ever, and we will be concentrating our efforts on all our all inclusive resorts in Jamaica, Bahamas, Curaçao, Brazil, Panama and Cuba."

"We deeply regret the prospect that over 300 loyal team members will lose their jobs in these harsh economic times," Mr. Issa concluded.

Quan is known for creating collages using her own original photographs and the naked human body as mediums. Guests are invited to participate in photo shoots led by Quan with the property’s newly redesigned guest suites and resort facilities serving as the perfect backdrop. Quan will be at Hidden Beach Resort creating, exhibiting and selling her artwork from May 20 – 29, 2011. 

“My artwork is created by taking photographs of human bodies in beautiful surroundings and blending them together to create one-of-a-kind photo collages,” said Quan. “Hidden Beach Resort provides the perfect setting and I am excited to invite guests to pose in paradise for these unforgettable keepsakes.” 

During her stay at Hidden Beach Resort, Quan will host twice-daily shows in the redesigned La Vista restaurant, which features a contemporary, open-air setting overlooking the pristine beach. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artist and participate in a preview shoot, during which time she will photograph individuals or couples and collage the images into art as complimentary mementos.
