  1. In opinion, Hedonism II should be converted to an all nude facility. The division between the au natual & clothing areas makes the resort a hybrid not comfortable for any of both groups.

  2. I think this promotion is a fun idea. It's going to get people thinking about commenting on resorts and Go Classy.

@jicotea I don't think an all nude facility would fly, but making the rest of the resort clothing optional, like they did at Hedonism III (may it rest in peace) is a great idea.

  3. I have never seen any real issues with the nude/prude division at Hedo... The prudes seem to recognize that they are frequently going to be exposed to more than they care to reveal - that never interferred with our fun!! A lot of the clothing worn is sexy and fun, which is the whole idea of HEDO (unlike a nudist colony). Either way, I prefer to see clothed people in the dining room (and scanty is good!).

  4. Visited Hedo on a day pass from Breezes MoBay in I think 2003. We had a great day visiting the "prude" side, and the antics on the prude side can only be considered prudish at Hedo! :-)
The games at lunch were a blast, and we didn't even get to check out the after dark parties!
Looking forward to going back to the Carribean again, we've been back once on a cruise and the resorts are way more fun than a cruise!
Hopefully we'll get to Hedo again soon as regular guests!

  5. Fun is available nude or not. My first trip was for 10 days at the prude pool. They only had one pool then. Had a blast. Already booked with GoClassy for my 44th trip in 22 years. Prude, nude who cares. Pleasure comes in many forms.

  6. Charles got it right! I never meant to say that Hedo II should be a nude colony...(it's a great idea though). I agree that you will get a lot of fun anyhow prude or no prude area but it would be "convenient" that if you would like to go nude to the main bar you could do it naked. There are limitations to walk freely around the resort. I just came from Desire (Cancun) and you can feel the difference. Anyways, I love Hedo II and the prudes will have to live with it!

  7. I believe that most prudes are 20-somethings who haven't learned yet to be comfortable with themselves...their focus is more on the outer trappings. They eventually come over to our side! GoClassy, we love you guys. We've been dying to book our next vacation to HedoII, but the economy has resulted in a job loss for us. Wow...you helped us book our pre-honeymoon, our honeymoon, and several anniversaries afterwards. Coming up on our 10th this year...winning a vacation would be wonderful (so pick us, pick us!). But, guaranteed - once our budget is back, we'll be back, booking through you!

  10. Haven't been to hedo but have been to Braco about or 7 times. Over the years we made friends with several of the staff and always felt like we were being welcomed back home.

  11. I agree with earlier comment, Hedo II should go all nude. I can't imagine any non-nudists vacationing there so why not open up the entire resort to c/o, especially that nice expansive prude beach area. It's always been deserted when I've been there...what a waste.

  12. I like the idea of having a prude area. It allows the not sure ones of getting use to H2 and get up the courage to go to the nude side.

  13. I would like to see Superclubs spend some $$ on hedo II and upgrade the rooms and food now that H-III has closed.

I enjoy the nude grill every day but consistent food and service at the other restaurants would be nice.

  14. Does anyone know the employees who moved from Hedo III to Hedo II?

  15. I first went to Hedo II in 1980. It was called Negril Beach Village. Since then, I can't get back soon enough. I have commented over the years on the Go Classy Forum about upgrading the food. Believe it or not, I usually get shot down that the food is great. Obviously, from those who never have tried Couples or any of the other all-inclusive. Hedo food is okay, not great. It also bugs me that when they last did major upgrades to the grounds (plunge pools, day beds, etc) they were all on the prude side. Any week of the year (and I have been there at different times of the year) 85% of the people are on the nude side. We are their bread & butter. I WANT DAY BEDS AND MORE ON THE NUDE SIDE !!! :)

  16. Anonymous is right when he said that "85% of the people are on the nude side"...that's why I started this whole thing with my comment in regards to making Hedo II an all nude resort. In any case, the nude area should be proportionally to the percentage of people using it...in the actual case, it is all way around! Let's push to get a fair share for the nudist people!!! Power to the nude!
PS: The food definitely can be improved...

  17. Reading the post here, I don't really feel qualified to post as i said before we just visited on a day pass. But I did want to say that I think a big draw for Hedo is having both a nude and a prude side! A big part of the allure of Hedo is the sexy atmosphere and quite often barely nothing is even sexier than nothing at all, not for everyone of course, but ya know different strokes for different folks!
Also it's easier for some folks to work there way up to hanging out at the pool naked!
I think from looking at web sites for different resorts that there's plenty of places that are totally nude all of the time if that's your cup of tea. If you just want to be naked and you buy the sales pitch from the "nudist/naturist resorts there it's just about being clothes free with no sexual overtones. So it seems like there are really three distinct types of clothing optional resorts:
    Nudist/naturist:.........yawn
All Nude all the time: ..maybe a little too far out there for lots of couples (read not lifestylers here)
Hedo: The BEST of both worlds here, lots of naked folks (always good), lots of sexy outfits for non nude also always good, and the option to hang out in shorts and a tee shirt if that's your style with no pressure.
    Hedo rocks!
I'm with No Gravity Here: once the economy improves and there's some more job stability we'll be headed back to the Carribean and Hedo will be our destination - probably on the prude side so the wife can see if she can muster the courage to go nude in public! That'll be a HUGE step for her!
